Six Sigma Basics & Tools for Manufacturing Excellence is a practical e-Learning course designed for students, engineers, supervisors, and manufacturing professionals who want to improve quality, reduce defects, and solve shop-floor problems using Six Sigma methods.
The course explains Six Sigma in simple manufacturing language, without heavy statistics. Learners will understand DMAIC, defect reduction, process variation, DPMO, Cp, Cpk, CTQ, VOC, COPQ, root cause analysis, Poka-Yoke, control charts, Taguchi Method, ANOVA, and 27 practical Six Sigma tools.
The course includes real examples from CNC machining, welding, casting, powder coating, assembly, inspection, and quality control. It also covers practical templates such as problem statement, check sheet, Pareto chart, Fishbone diagram, 5 Whys, SIPOC, Gauge R&R, control plan, solution selection matrix, and A3 report.
By completing this course, learners will be able to identify process problems, collect useful data, analyse root causes, implement improvements, and sustain results through standard operating procedures and control plans.
